They do get the short end of the stick in this one. The only way we can help them is getting rid of that monster.

I wonder how the Natha will manage it without compromising themselves. Or if they'll take the hit - I don't think they have an infinite power source, whatever it is.

Towards the end, reality tore open. It looked like Ysverai was calling down the Storm we're hiding from. So I'd say that's the worst possibility, being completely erased and eaten by infinity. Just below that is the Natha being unable to fix the planet and all of us eventually dying up here either from lack of supplies, the station breaking down, or whatever threat the Natha have been attacked by showing up.

I don't know about you, but being erased sounds better than dying up here. We're going to have a very big problem if supplies become an issue, but so far so good.

I'll always gamble on more chances.

And if the planet is stabilized, and we return, Darma said the cat's out of the bag. We're going to have to deal with the fallout from the natives - some of which worshiped the 'moon' and saw us as divine, some of which hated us already.

I've had my fill of riots and torture, thank you very much. Makes it tempting to just live out in the wilderness, doesn't it?

Besides, we've got a responsibility to these people.

Like up here where everything's clean and air conditioned? I dunno, I like Khalo, too.

It's a shame. We're culpable in the manipulation, even though we didn't ask to come here, just because we've benefited so much. I doubt any of the natives will be getting a quick resurrection.

It's fine up here until I remember I'm in bloody space and feel like I can't breathe. And I missed out on the trip to Khalo. [There was no way, at that time, that she could leave Theon's side.]

No. Though perhaps that can change if they're made aware of the truth.

It was interesting. Very peaceful, though probably because you get to get stoned to get in.

There's no way around them being aware at this stage, I don't think.

I'm forever heartbroken I missed the group trip.

We're all in danger of the Storm. I hope the Natha will welcome them into the fold as they did with us. The natives here aren't as magical or colorful as some of us, but surely they can be accommodated if this world too is now on the brink.

I can't tell if that's sarcasm or not.

I hope so, too. I know the tradeoff is we're not reproducing, our population is comparitively controlled - but we can't know how much better or worse they'd be able to handle their own problems if they were never interfered with.

God knows how many of the problems these cities have had over the past year have been worsened by our presence. Or bettered, for that matter.

Trying to wipe each other off the map may be inevitable, but it's more complicated than that, even in the time I've been here. We'll just have to take it one step at a time. And hope everybody can play ball; I feel like we'll need to be a functional united force to get through it.
