Did you have any plans specifically for that? Even if they're rough it's better than working on the fly with a lot of lives on the line. I can help draft one of you wanted.
A planet in stealth mode would be sick... but. It doesn't look like it does, though.
Roughly, shift 99% of the power to shielding the stasis chamber and finding a way to escort it to a safe place, either on the planet or the 'other moon.' Worst comes to worst I can try to modify the transporters to move the entire unit somewhere, but I'd definitely need to find a spare genius engineer, since it'd be risky in the first place and should be the last resort. The more ideas we have there the better - I wouldn't be surprised if there's an emergency procedure lurking in the automated code of the station, but I'm not sure I can get that far in there even with a serious hack job, or what the consequences of trying would be.
Right.. I can hack pretty well but that would be a last resort. No need to risk all those lives for a little experiment to see, basically.
I like that plan.. let's keep it for now. Genius engineer I'm not but I'm sure there's someone in all this mess that could manage that kinda thing. Might not hurt to put out lowkey feelers.
Alright. Those are our work orders for now. Fix what we can fix and fish for people who can help. Meanwhile, try to avoid death via ancient zombie dragon.
I work in space. Pretty much every case is something insane.
Without a planet to draw raw supplies from, no one will prefer it once food and oxygen starts getting low. That jungle display they had up a few months ago was a hologram, not hydroponics. On-board resource generation can only do so much.
... So that's how you're gonna cop out from telling me a story?
Rude, Jim.
I can survive on rations for a pretty long time.. oxygen though is kinda necessary. You know, lungs and all. Let's not get ahead of ourselves, anyways. Like a contingency plan is nice and all but I don't really wanna fall in to the pit of having disaster plans A, B, & C for nothing to happen at all.
Plus I'm gonna be pissed if I end up eating it on some random planet in a universe I'm not even from.
Yeah, being prepared for both isn't gonna hurt anybody, really. Having no clue on one side or the other is what would be an absolute killer for all of us.

Not every planet can be super like that I guess.

Yeah that's a uh.. special problem to have, huh?
I never honestly thought I'd experience something like that. And I have a damn Gundam that I can use by myself.
Honestly I'd rather just float in space than deal with that.

Well, hopefully we won't all have to evacuate up to Thesa because the planet gets crushed.

Well you can't just say that and then not deliver on stories.
So let's hear it!
I mean that wouldn't be skin off my nose. I prefer space and zero g's honestly. Problems with comin' out of a tube in space I guess.

I, personally, would love to have disaster plans with no disaster. But I know what you mean.

You sound like Howie. Needs to be able to flail all over the place to tell a story and deviate off on tangents all the time.
Well, no need to panic the common folk, right?
It's also energy we could be designating somewhere else that's a bit more immediately constructive.

Yeah, but you gotta bank on no disaster, right? We probably need to aim somewhere in between.

Literally and figuratively.
