It's gonna be a hell of a learning curve. My experience comes down 50/50 between tense negotiations with entities hostile to the Federation and total chaos during first contacts.
A concern I raised during the coalition. It won't sit well with the locals if we're paid special attention whilst their needs are overlooked. They're already unhappy.
